The IT Crowd Season 2 (ep 2)

September 4th, 2007 | by OsoMarron |

After a long, long wait, the british sitcom The IT Crowd is finally hitting the air again, and it’s as strong as the first season. I believe the rumor is 8 episodes for this season, as opposed to the 6 episodes for season 1.

Spoilers on episode 2, so blur your eyes at this point if you have to ^_^

–spoilers episode 2–
Episode 2 just brought 2 sad news to me. First one, no more Denholm. The character who, in my opinion, was the 4th main cast member, says goodbye in this ep (obviously in a dramatic, yet hilarious way). The other sad news, it seems the flag punchline of the series is being shed off. Roy officially retires his “Hello, IT, have you tried turning it off and on again” line due to “being sick of saying that” XD

Not that the series will go downhill after that or anything, but it just feels like important losses. As for the new boss character, for now I find it a bit overacted, but it might turn out well. At least it didn’t turn out to be that IT department hater… a major bullet was dodged there :heh:
